Imari Monét

Founder

Ms. Imari Brown is an educator, mentor, holistic business developer, and lifelong learner whose passion has always been helping others discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and create meaningful success in their lives. Born in Toms River, New Jersey, and raised in Florida, Imari developed an early appreciation for service, leadership, and resilience. Throughout her youth, she volunteered extensively through her church, schools, and 4-H youth development programs, while also spending her school days working on the farm caring for animals and learning the value of discipline, responsibility, and community.

Imari has always embraced learning as both a personal passion and a professional calling. She earned her Associate of Arts degree through dual enrollment while still in high school, later obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies with a Minor in Business Administration and a Certificate in Sports Management from the University of Central Florida. She then earned her first Master’s Degree in Communication Management from the University of North Florida. Today, she continues her educational journey by completing her final year in her next Master’s Degree in Integrative Medicine and Ayurveda at Maharishi International University, before completing her studies with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree, combining her passions for education, advocacy, and whole-person wellness to better serve others.

Throughout her professional career, Imari has gained experience across education, healthcare, legal services, business management, and nonprofit work. She has worked alongside respected attorneys, healthcare professionals, and business leaders, developing a diverse skill set that allows her to connect with individuals from all walks of life. However, no role has ever been more meaningful to her than teaching and mentoring students.

Educational Experience & Specialties

Imari specializes in English Language Arts (ELA), Exceptional Student Education (ESE), executive functioning skills, academic coaching, study strategies, college-level coursework support, and individualized learning plans for all ages, birth through adult. She has extensive experience working with students of varying abilities, including those with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, gifted learners, English Language Learners, and students requiring additional academic or emotional support.

As a classroom educator, Imari has consistently demonstrated exceptional student growth. While teaching third-grade ELA in a Title I school, every student in her classroom showed significant academic improvement, with many students progressing from low Level 1 performance to scoring Level 4 or higher on Florida's FAST ELA state assessments. Her students, families, and colleagues consistently praise her ability to build confidence, foster meaningful relationships, and help learners achieve goals they once believed were out of reach.

Beyond academics, Imari is passionate about teaching executive functioning skills, organization, self-advocacy, time management, study habits, and life skills that empower students long after they leave the classroom. She believes education should support the whole person, not just the student sitting behind a desk.

Earth Elements Holistic Business Development

Imari is also the founder of Earth Elements Holistic, a small business created from her belief that true success is achieved when personal growth, wellness, education, and professional development work together. Earth Elements was founded to support entrepreneurs, students, professionals, and individuals navigating life's transitions by helping them identify their strengths, overcome barriers, and create sustainable paths toward their goals.

The inspiration behind Earth Elements comes from Imari's own life experiences. Having navigated significant personal and professional challenges, she understands firsthand what it means to rebuild, adapt, and persevere. Through holistic coaching, mentorship, education, and business development strategies, she strives to help others transform their obstacles into opportunities and discover the confidence needed to create meaningful change in their lives.

Why Become an Educator?

Teaching was not simply a career choice for Imari—it became a calling.

Like many individuals, the COVID-19 pandemic created an unexpected turning point in her life. While exploring new opportunities, she discovered education and quickly realized that helping students learn, grow, and believe in themselves brought her more fulfillment than any previous profession. She immediately pursued her certifications and entered the classroom, where she found her true purpose in life.

What makes Imari's approach unique is that it is deeply rooted in empathy and lived experience. As an adult, she was diagnosed with both Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). More recently, after years of searching for answers regarding neurological symptoms and traumatic brain injuries, she received a diagnosis of Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) through Mayo Clinic, an extremely rare neurological condition. These experiences challenged her in many ways, but they also strengthened her understanding of perseverance, neurodiversity, self-advocacy, and the importance of individualized support systems.

Rather than allowing those challenges to define her, Imari chose to transform them into opportunities to better serve others. Her personal journey ultimately inspired her return to medical education and her pursuit of a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, allowing her to continue advocating for individuals facing complex educational, neurological, and life challenges.

Because she has personally navigated adversity, academic demands, health obstacles, and career transitions, Imari brings a unique level of understanding and compassion to every student she works with. She believes every learner deserves someone firmly in their corner—someone who sees their potential, believes in their abilities, and helps them develop the tools necessary to succeed.

Personality & Interests

Outside of education, Imari finds peace and inspiration in nature, especially near the ocean or in the country farmland. She enjoys reading, yoga, meditation, lifelong learning, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new ways to support personal growth and wellness. Her favorite wind-down activity after a long day is sipping her sweet tea on the porch and watching her favorite western films with her dogs. She is known for her positive outlook, relentless determination, and unwavering commitment to helping others reach their fullest potential.

Above all, Imari believes that every challenge carries a lesson, every setback can become a stepping stone, and every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive. Whether she is working with a struggling reader, a college student, an aspiring entrepreneur, or someone simply needing encouragement, her mission remains the same: to educate, empower, and inspire others to become the best version of themselves.
